Product Description Sigma 55 - 200MM Lens for Canon SLR Camera 684-101 - This compact telephoto zoom lens was exclusively designed for use with digital SLR cameras. The image circle was designed to match the size of the image sensors of digital SLR cameras that also allows compact body and lightweight with overall length of 84.6mm (3.3in.), and weight of only 310g/10.9 ounces. It has a filter size of 55mm, maximum diameter of 70mm (2.7in.). This remarkably compact high performance zoom lens is ideally suited to a wide range of subjects. This lens has a minimum focusing distance of 110cm (43.3in.) and maximum magnification of 1:4. Digital cameras having image sensors larger than APS-C size, and 35mm cameras, should not be used with these lenses. If such cameras are used, severe vignetting in the images may result. The angle of view varies depending on the camera the lens is mounted on Aroma System - Pre-brewing cycle injects hot water into ground coffee to maximize flavor extraction Rapid Steam - No waiting between frothing milk with Pannarello attachment and brewing espresso Two programmable brew buttons Removable 57 oz water tank Swivel base for convenient rotation Removable drip tray and dreg drawer for easy cleaning 15-bar pressure pump Unit Dimensions - 13 W x 19 D x 14.5 H; Weight - 20 lbs.

Not for all cameras July 29, 2010 David Manning (Bangor, PA) WARNING if you have a low end entry level DSLR then you will probably want to buy this. This camera lens does not have a motor in it and if your camera does not have a motor in it, it will not autofocus. Wish I would have known before my purchase, or I would have saved up for the nikor 55-200mm.
What I received wasn't what I ordered. July 22, 2010 James Lanphear (Seabrook, Texas, US) The listing indicates that this is an auto-focus (AF) lens. The box and the documentation that came all indicated that it was an AF lens. The actual lens itself was not an AF lens. I don't know if this was just a mistake on someones part (accidentally put the wrong lens in the box) or what. I was very disappointed. I ended up returning it and purchasing the Nikon 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED IF AF-S DX VR [Vibration Reduction] Zoom Nikkor Lens for $65 more and I am very happy with it. I will say that the quality of the Sigma lens itself was very acceptable for a budget oriented lens. It fit well and operated smoothly. The Amazon return process was very easy and went smoothly - I appreciated that.
Great lens for the price May 4, 2010 J. Simpson (Cumming, GA, US) Light weight, fast focus, pictures are of good quality with little noise.
Used it for my niece's wedding and am very happy with the pictures.
Great lens if used properly March 13, 2010 V. Morrison (New Jersey) I was hesitant to buy this lens because of the reviews of it being slow to auto focus. I'm glad I bought it for myself because it's great. It's not slow to auto focus if it's used with adequate lighting. It's not an indoor lens, but can do extremely well indoor if coupled with a flash on the hot shoe. The IF is not enough to help this lens.
Focusing is not a problem as long as the lens can see, it needs light indoors. Buy a flash!
Excellent DOF. Sharp photos. Quiet.
Have no fears when buying this lens, just know how to use it, give it light when indoors and it will perform beautifully.
Cheep Lens November 17, 2009 Laureen E. Chaffin 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Received the lens and it has a flaw on it. Could not get it replaced. Guess you get what you paid for, I would say spend a little extra money and get a good lens.
